Finding Jessica

trying to reach that essential plateau of hopeless wonderment associated with achieving the ultimate inspiration...

Has it really been about 6 MONTHS since I posted??? Well shoot...I guess I need to catch things up!!!

Sooooo...I'M PREGNANT! Even better than that, MY HUSBAND (I love that phrase) and I are expecting our little rug rat soon. Jayden James Janoff (fondly named for a grandfather & great-grandfather) is due March 5th, 2013, however his mommy would LOVE IT if he would present himself closer to February twenty-something.

Also - for those familiar with my little spitfire Marco, he's STILL BROKEN :-(
for those willing and interested in helping us get surgery to fix his little doggy leg, please check out our fundraising web page, site below:

Geeze - I have too much work to do today! More updates VERY SOON! And baby shower this weekend!!!

JCJ

SO...I know updates have been a bit erratic, but here's something for ya...

Life has been good. Genuinely, lovely, and good. Still plenty of things to stress at me, pull at me, finangle my thoughts....excitements and new experiences...but all is well. Crazy, right?

Me and my darling are doing fine for any interested parties. Work = ok enough for now. School = done! Life = getting pretty interesting :)

So...I suppose I didn't have that much to say after all. But I can promise I will soon!!!

ALRIGHT! I know the blog is looking cRaZy right now, but I finally decided to update things, and ended up with some wonky HTML and CSS code. But relax...things are getting fixed...

While perusing the reviews on Citysearch for Victorian Rose Bridals (mostly bad reviews, but I like a thorough opinion), I came upon the most ridiculous 1-star review I've ever seen. Please take into account - this shop is on Glenwood Avenue in downtown Raleigh, NC, in the heart of a nice area of boutiques and cafes...

terrible new trends

Even though the store had poor ratings, I had purchased a dress for a girlfriends wedding and the dress was ok. So I went back to get the dresses for my wedding and when I went into the store it was filled with colored people. They were trying on all the dresses and were touching everything. The dresses looked worn and tattered. Its no wonder none of them were white. Now I understand why you have to have an appointment, they don't want you to see what and who they have in the store. The vibe in this place is awful who wants to start there wedding like that. I'm only giving the store 1 star because I can't give it none."

First off - where did this person learn English grammar and punctuation??? Sentence structure...no? Well, whatever makes people see and say things the way they do, its obvious the lack of intelligence is spurned from the same place as a lack of sense and tolerance for other human beings. I didn't know one way to judge the service and style of a wedding boutique was by how lightly "colored" their patrons are.

Hi everyone!!!! So...WHOW (okay, spelling issue there) its been a while since I've said something up here. Shame, huh? My life is so DANG interesting...but realistically, I haven't done alot of interesting things lately. Let me think....

The best way to do this is a LIST. You know, those easy to read short-attention-span-friendly things. So here goes...

  1. I moved to Cary, NC (still don't have that AWESOME lingerie chest...see last post)
  2. I need a lingerie chest that matches my bedroom set and not my bedroom from high school
  3. I become single
  4. I became INCREDIBLY not single
  5. *insert between 3 & 4* I met and considered a few guys that just did not make the cut
  6. I no longer have my loving kitty Magic (Hat)
  7. My boys fight over me OFTEN
  8. I am finally GRADUATING from NORTH CAROLINA STATE UNIVERISTY with a Bachelor of Science in BIOCHEMISTRY
  9. Caps lock is awesome. REALLY.
  10. One of my best friends is getting married next year in COSTA RICA!!!! Not quite a road trip, but I will be there!
  11. One of my best friends is getting married this year in I DON'T KNOW WHERE YET BUT I'M A BRIDESMAID!
  12. One of my best friends is already married
  13. One of my best friends is now happily cohabitating with her boo thang and WANTS to get married
  14. One of my best friends may be going back home to get married (3 freakin thousand miles away...)
  15. One of my best friends is awaiting the opportunity to cohabitate with the man she wants to marry (i.e. another boo thang)
  16. Man I seem to have a lot of best friends...but if you're not the best, you really aren't worth mentioning often, huh?
  17. I have a blue-eyed love...I always thought it would be green haha
  18. My mother is getting her PhD in something something and she is officially teaching something or another at Miller-Motte!!!
  19. This list is no longer short-attention-span-friendly
  20. Okay...I'll pause now since TECHNICALLY I'm at work and should be..you know...working
I'll be back soon!!!! Obviously that list is SOOOOOO incomplete :)

I would LOVE to have this for my new place next month!!! Then my entire (visible) bedroom would match! I'll just put the last chest in my closet lol, its certainly BIG enough!!! Plus, it'll be perfect to put my flat screen on top, and the dvd player in the little space underneath :)

Its currently on sale, but the normal price is right under $300...fingers crossed for the move!

Aristo 5-drawer Lingerie Chest

A special agent, an administrative specialist and an office manager were walking to lunch when they found an antique lamp. They rubbed it and of course a magic genie appeared in a puff of smoke. "Since I always grant three wishes, you each may have one." "Me, first! Me, first!" cried the administrative specialist. "I want to drive a speedboat in the Bahamas without a care in the world!" And poof! she was gone. "Me, next! Me, next!" cried the special agent. "I want to relax on the beach in Hawaii with a personal masseuse, an endless supply of pina coladas and the love of my life." And poof! she was gone. Finally it was the manager's turn. The manager said, "I want those two assholes back in the office after lunch!" The moral of the story? Always let your boss have the first say!

This is going to be crazy. By the way - if anyone knows how to get classes removed from your transcript and student account that you neither signed up for or took...let me know.
