Finding Jessica

trying to reach that essential plateau of hopeless wonderment associated with achieving the ultimate inspiration...

...do you remember that huge baby poop that i did last year...? (lol...hahaha...lol...influenced by watching the awesome show on TLC "I didn't know I was pregnant")

Mi mejor amiga that I met during the summer of who knows when and had a spanish class with her and caitlin and Dr. Dawes...she's abandoned me in COSTA RICA for nearly 6 months now, and she's gone and found herself a multi-fluent man who's said those HUGE words (TE AMO) and who she visited in guatemala....man, live it up chica, miss you, wish I were there with you!!!

(we have NO IDEA what we want)

Man, I haven't gotten this many awards since like, high school!!! (for some reason you have to already have done what you're trying to learn to do at an internship once you reach college...stupid super-overachievers)

Excellent! When I pick my people, this post will get updated...have a good night y'all! I gotta get to bed!!!

One day a woman's husband died, and on that clear, cold morning, in the warmth of their bedroom, the wife was struck with the pain of learning that sometimes there isn't "anymore." No more hugs,no more special moments to celebrate together,no more phone calls just to chat,no more "just one minute."

Sometimes, what we care about the most
gets all used up and goes away, never to return before we can say good-bye, say "I love you."

So while we have it, it's best we love it,
care for it,fix it when it's broken and
heal it when it's sick.
This is true for marriage ...
and old cars, and children with bad report cards, and dogs with bad hips,
family and aging parents and grandparents.
We keep them because they are worth it .....
because we are worth it.

Some things we keep -- like a best friend who moved away or a sister-in-law after divorce.
There are just some things that make us happy, no matter what.

Life is important. We only have one.

So, apparently I received an award from one of my awesome followers that I only noticed because I was reading my comment RSS for like, the first time ever...I'm still so new to this...and, well, she's awesome (and hopefully could make me a siggy muy similar to pehpot's that she made this summer...or a quick copy, i'm not a choosy beggar!!!)...well, here it is!!!

along with a quote from her blog (Random WAHM Thoughts)

The above award goes to the following people, but this should be the Your Blog Makes Us Laugh Out Loud award, because that's exactly what these people's entries make me do when I visit them: Aria, Jessica, Clarisse, Sterndal and June

Thank you soooo much!!! I feel so terrible that I'm just now noticing this!!!! I know, I know, I'm a silly mokey, and tricks are for kids.

so as soon as I'm done writing this, I will do my extremely very best to quit doing nothing and do at least most of my p.chem homework. but I sit here pondering what it takes to be with someone forever...what it takes to make someone ready to be with you...haha...what it takes to get rid of years worth of credit card debt which studying full time...what it takes to b e worthy of a "yes"...yes, we want you to work here and research with us...yes, I want to marry you, to be with you forever, to throw away all of my fears and doubts and trust that YOU ARE NOT going to be everything I know you are not but imagine you to be that I don't want...

what if?

when?

how?

why?

Ay dios mio, I thought at least the blog community, with so much free time at our computer's fingertips would have something...anything???

Gay clubs? Weird churches? C'mon people....help a stressed and confused college girl out...

He didn't like the casserole
And he didn't like my cake,
He said my biscuits were too hard
Not like his mother used to make.

I didn't perk the coffee right
He didn't like the stew,
I didn't mend his socks
The way his mother used to do.

I pondered for an answer
I was looking for a clue.
Then I turned and
smacked the shit out of him...

Like his mother used to do.
